I work with clients using a non-shaming, weight inclusive approach that is unique to each person. With this approach I help individuals works towards a healthier relationship with food and their body to achieve not only a better quality of life but also improved health outcomes.
Intuitive Eating Counselor and Certified Diabetes Educator
Lindsay has been a practicing registered dietitian for 20 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science and completed her didactic dietetic internship at the University of Rhode Island.
She is board certified both locally and nationally as a diabetes educator and works with clients with type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. She is also a Certified Intuitive Eating counselor.
Throughout her career she has gained experience in and moved towards specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating and chronic dieting. She also works with clients to manage other health concerns including elevated blood pressure/ cholesterol and cardiovascular disease and gastrointestinal issues.
Lindsay works with clients both virtually and in person in our Providence office.
Amanda Laezza, RD, LDN (She/her)
Amanda is a Registered Dietitian with a clinical and counseling-focused background. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional sciences, and completed a dietetic internship at Cleveland Clinic, where she gained an abundance of experience working with individuals of all ages.
Amanda is passionate about delivering evidence-based nutrition interventions and self care goals in an anti-diet, body neutral, and health-forward approach. Her philosophy is “all foods fit”, and with this mindset she hopes to continue her career working with individuals of all ages to achieve an improved relationship with food through intuitive eating.
Amanda works with clients both virtually and in person in our Cranston office.
Trisha Hiers- Client Coordinator (She/her)
Trisha is our client care coordinator here at Honest Nutrition. She has been with us for the past 4 years and is our expert in all things onboarding and scheduling!
Outside of work, Trisha loves to bake- especially anything with chocolate!

What is Intuitive Eating?
Intuitive Eating is a self-care eating framework, which integrates instinct, emotion, and rational thought and was created by two dietitians, Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch in 1995. Intuitive Eating is a weight-inclusive, evidence-based model with a validated assessment scale and over 100 studies to date.
