Out of pocket costs will vary depending on co-payment and number of nutrition counseling visits allowed annually by your health insurance carrier. To find out if your visits are covered, call the phone number on the back of your insurance card. Use the questions below for guidance:

• I was diagnosed with ___________. Will I be covered for nutrition counseling for this diagnosis?
• Do I need a referral? Does it need to be from my primary care provider or can any doctor refer?
  
• How many visits are covered and over what period of time?
  
• Do I have a deductible?
  
• ​Will there be a co-pay?.

Private payment is an option in the following circumstances: 

• We are not a participating provider in  your health insurance plan
• Your health insurance plan does not cover medical nutrition therapy or nutrition counseling
• You would like to participate in virtual Intuitive Eating Coaching sessions 
• You prefer to pay out of pocket.

Private Pay fee for individual appointments: 

• 90 minute Initial Assessment- $200 (one time cost)
• 60 min follow up- $100 individually
• 30 minute Follow Up - $50- individually

*Payment is due at the time of the visit
